About Me

Hey, I’m Abimael (Abi) Espinal — a software engineer who enjoys building clean, useful, and reliable products. I’ve been working in tech for a few years now, mainly focused on mobile apps and full-stack development.

I’ve spent the last few years at companies like ConnectRN, where I helped improve the clinician experience by shipping features, working with designers and PMs, and supporting both web and mobile platforms. Before that, I led React Native development at Good Uncle, and did UI work at Equinox.

I work as a React, React Native, and Go developer, and I've also worked with Next.js on several projects. I mostly use TypeScript and Go, but I’m always learning and adapting depending on the team and project. I care about building things that are thoughtful, easy to use, and actually solve problems.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying plugged into the tech community, mentoring newer devs, and spending time with my son. I’m based in New York and always open to connecting with good people doing good work.
